Among the senders: the industrialist and composer, director of Sonzogno from 1923, Piero Ostali Sr. (1877-1961), the manager of the New York Metropolitan Theatre Walter F. Davis, the violinist and music critic Pierre Leroi (1896-1962), the composer Luigi Colonna (1908 – 1978), the pianist Luigi Finizio, the musicologist Andrea Della Corte (1883-1968), the composer and musicologist, librarian of the ‘Cherubini’ Conservatory in Florence, Adelmo Damerini (1880-1976).
