MUSICAL COLLECTIONS
The Centro Studi has two collections of musical sources: the first consists of important 18th- and 19th-century printed and manuscript original proprietary sources.
The second collection is made up of microfilms and digital sources acquired over time from public and private archives and libraries, related to the philological work of the Critical Editions of the complete works of Muzio Clementi, Luigi Boccherini and Pietro Locatelli and the compilation of the catalogue of the Czech composer’s works.
Also important is the material referring to the 20th century, which specifically consists of a large collection of sources, journals, archival and private documents and books from and about the world of music during the fascist period, as well as a collection dedicated to the composer Luigi Dallapiccola consisting of autographs, letters, librettos, programmes, photographs and editions of works.
